Get outside to experience a taste of INVISBLE RIVER before the main event in July!
Come to Lemon Hill to enjoy a preview of the music and aerial dance featured in INVISIBLE RIVER and enjoy a post-performance discussion.
The musical stylings of the Oubliette Trio will fill the air with warm layers of ambient sound - a tonal soundscape is created with wind, bells and chimes ad aerial dancers show a preview of the dance happening underneath the Strawberry Mansion Bridge in July.
Please bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on during the performance.
Bike Directions to Lemon Hill (Lemon Hill Drive, Philadelphia, PA 19130):
From the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Go around the front of the Museum, turn left (north) on Kelly Drive and go to the second light - to the seated statue of Lincoln, opposite the Waterworks. Turn right on Sedgeley Drive and make a sharp left to Lemon Hill.
Lemon Hill is also accessible by foot from the Philadelphia Art Museum and the Water Works.
Bus Route 32 also serves Lemon Hill.
Car Directions:
From the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76), exit at Spring Garden St. eastbound, toward the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Go around the front of the Museum, turn left (north) on Kelly Drive and go to the second light - to the seated statue of Lincoln, opposite the Waterworks. Turn right on Sedgeley Drive and make a sharp left to Lemon Hill. The mansion is at the top of the hill. Go behind the Mansion and there is a parking lot. You may park there and staff from INVISIBLE RIVER will direct you to the performance location.
